Burgundy Information Services specialises in negotiating the delivery of scholarly information to libraries and information centres throughout Europe. We do this on behalf of a growing portfolio of innovative academic publishers and e-content aggregators from around the world.
Our business is growing rapidly and we are now looking to appoint a Sales Manager with a proven track record in e-content sales to help us develop profitable client relationships throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland, or Germany, Austria and Switzerland, depending on skills and experience.
We are looking for someone with the ability to identify new opportunities, undertake detailed negotiations and build lasting and profitable customer relationships. The role also requires an ability to demonstrate a range of products and services in a clear and cohesive way and to exude confidence when presenting to small groups. It is expected that there will be some travel each month to attend major industry events, to meet with customers and prospects and to attend company meetings.
